Alice Kruckenberg, age 67, of Lake View, IA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View.

   Alice June Daisy was born on July 14, 1950, in Lake City, IA, to parents Russell and Marcella (Farber) Daisy. She was baptized in the First Christian Church in Lake City. Alice grew up and attended school in Lake City, graduating from there with the class of 1968.
   On August 3, 1968, Alice married Terry Kruckenberg in the Emmanuel St. John Lutheran Church in Lytton, IA, where she became a life-long member. Their union was blessed with two children, Teresa and Travis. Alice and Terry raised their family in Lytton, and later moved to Sac City. For the past  2 years, Alice had been living at Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View. She thoroughly enjoyed having visitors, especially when those visitors were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
   Alice had a good life, she loved being a homemaker. Baking for her family brought a smile to her face…she loved to bake! Over the years, Alice babysat for several families. She also did some secretarial work in her younger years. Alice enjoyed crafting and making things. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
   Left to cherish Alice’s memory are her husband Terry, of Sac City, IA; daughter Teresa (Dean) Lanning of Ozark, MO; grandchildren Brody Olson, Cody Lanning, John Lanning, and Justin Lanning; great grandchildren Jacie Lanning, Emma Lanning, and Shane Lanning; siblings Richard Daisy of Lake City, IA, Sharon Meier of Pocahontas, IA, Lonnie (Janet) Daisy of Lake City, IA, and Art Daisy of Lake City, IA; many extended family members and friends.
   Alice was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Marcella Daisy; son Travis Kruckenberg; brother Roger Daisy; and sister Marilyn Wheeler. 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
