   Kevin Ross, age 49, of Carroll, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at his home in Carroll. Kevin Dale Ross was born on October 5, 1967, to Darrell and Carol (Kretlow) Ross, in Sac City, IA. He was baptized and confirmed at the Emanuel-St. John Lutheran Church in Lytton, IA. Kevin attended  school in Lytton and graduated with the class of 1986. He went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communications,
minoring in psychology, from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, IA.      
   Kevin worked as a machinist starting his career in Illinois. He wasn’t there long before his job brought him back closer to home in Carroll, IA. Kevin enjoyed photography, especially taking photos of nature. He loved and was good at woodworking, cooking and gardening. Kevin was a big movie watcher and he always enjoyed listening to music. He was a witty and good natured man who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
   Those left to cherish his memory are: parents Darrell and Carol Ross of Lytton, IA; brother Gary (Tina) Ross and children Taylor and Brady Ross of Baxter, IA, and brother Bart (Kara) Ross and children Cole and Casey Ross of West Des Moines, IA; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many extended family members and friends.
   Kevin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Marie Ross, and Arnold and Velma Kretlow.
