“I was saddened to hear of the passing of Joel’s grandfather. I know Joel held him near to his heart and was stricken by his passing. I never knew Ronald personally, but if he was anything like his grandson, he had to have been a very special man. Joel’s excellent work ethic, kindness and love for the outdoors likely comes from Ronald’s influence. May God give you peace at this time of loss.”

“I am the grandson of Leonard Olerich and I would like to express my condolences to the family on the loss of Ron. Ron was a funny fellow and I always enjoyed seeing him whenever I made it up to Iowa. I will always have fond memories of him and I remember my Uncle Richard took my family to visit Ron and Sharon when my daughter was a little girl. They had a Boston Terrier I believe his name was Pepper. I have a picture of Ron, Uncle Richard, and Jessica holding Pepper. I will always treasure that picture! My God bless you and ease your pain during this difficult time. Ron was a good fellow and I will never forget him.
