Debra Joy Neumann, age 61, of Sac City, IA, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in her home in Sac City.  Deb was born on February 9, 1955 in Denison, IA, to Donald and Roseta (Becker) Samuelson.  She graduated from Dow City High School with the class of 1973.

   On December 6, 1989, Deb was united in marriage to Richard Neumann in Sac City.  She worked as a CNA at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City for 11 years. 

   Deb was a devoted wife and mother.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing games, reading books, trying her luck at the casino, figure 8 races, but most of all spending time with her kids and grandchildren.

   Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Richard of Sac City; her children: Kevin (Mandy) Hedberg of Sac City, David (Amy) Hedberg of Sac City, Misty (Anthony) Ivanow of Oklahoma City, and Ginny Shipman (James Craig) of Des Moines; her many adopted children; grandchildren: Shayla, Josi, Brianna, Sandy, Matthew, Johnathon, Logan, Joshua, Braden, Lynae, Makenna, and Bella; great-grandchildren: Levi and Joseph; her sister Cindy Wendt of Denison; her brother Donnie Samuelson of Denison; extended family and many friends.

   Deb was preceded in death by her parents Don and Rosetta, son Gary Neumann, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and nephew Michael Babcock.
