Michael F. Tielbur, age 58, of Early, IA, (formerly of Spencer, IA) passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Loring Hospital in Sac City.  Mike was born June 18, 1958, to Frank and Shirley Tielbur in Spencer, IA.  He attended Spencer schools, graduating in 1976.  Following his graduation, Mike enlisted in the United States Navy.  After his discharge he was united in marriage to Barbara Wefel in 1982.  Mike and Barb had two sons, Nick and Matt.

   Mike was a master carpenter, able to build most anything.  He really enjoyed making things for his family and friends.  Mike taught his carpentry skills to his two sons.

   Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

   Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Nicholas Tielbur of Pocahontas, IA and Mathew (Megan) Tielbur of Early, IA; two granddaughters; brother Doug (Janet) Tielbur from Marshfield, WI; sister Julie Mears from Spencer, IA; and other family and many friends.

   A celebration of life for family and friends of Michael Tielbur will be held from 2-5:00pm, Saturday, July 9, 2016, at 413 Maple Street in Early, IA.  The Farber & Otteman Funeral Home of Sac City is in charge of arrangements.
