   Wilma Louise (Davis) Williams, age 92, of Sac City, IA, formerly of Lytton, IA, passed away on April 18, 2016, at Loring Hospital in Sac City.  Wilma was born on March 23, 1924, the daughter of Kennard and Edith (Monical) Davis, in Greene County, at Jefferson, IA.  She was baptized in the Lutheran Church at Knoke, IA.  Wilma attended country school in Greene County, High School at Bayard, IA, for two years, and graduated in Jolley, IA, High School in 1941.  She attended AIB in Des Moines until 1942 and was a teller in the Lytton Savings Bank until 1947.

   On September 28, 1946, Wilma was united in marriage to Fred Williams, Jr.  To this union three daughters were born: Nancy Kreft, Shirley Phillips and Patricia Uren and friend Billy Pemble all of Sac City.  She was a bookkeeper at the Williams Hardware and Lytton Farm Equipment until she became Postmaster in Lytton in 1970.  She retired in 1990.

   Throughout her life she was involved in many community activities. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Lytton since 1947, active in the Hutchinson-Liechty Post #546 of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lytton since 1946, holding all offices, and also Sac County Auxiliary President in 2005.

   Wilma is survived by her daughters; eight grandchildren: Stacy (Rick) Phillips, Jeff (Kelly) Kreft, Jason (Angie) Kreft, Jodi Kreft and friend Buster Wirtjers, Kyle Long and friend Rachel Juliffs, Cole Long, Cully Magner and friend Mike Blum, and Crystal (Cameron) Remmick; great grandchildren: Whitney, Wendy, Wylee, Wyatt, Jake, and Nathan Kreft, Aly and Katy Phillips, Jadeyn, Jarrett and Clara Long, Kaden Ramthum, Wade and Zane Magner, and Keaton Remmick; and one great-great granddaughter Raegan Bettin.  Other survivors include her sisters: Shirley Sage of Lytton and Darlene Behrends of Pomeroy; lots of nieces and nephews and extended family members.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Beverly Sorenson and Donna Kelly; grandson Robert Phillips; and son-in-law Jerry Phillips.
