   Owen  Michael Geerdes, nine day old son of Christina Galbraith and Eric Geerdes of Sac City, IA, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.  He was born November 15th in Lake City, IA.

   Owen is survived by his mother and father; maternal grandparents Mike and Lori Galbraith of Sac City; paternal grandparents Fred and Kalyn Geerdes of Sac City and Sherri Geerdes of Florida; maternal great-grandparents Chuck Zimmerman and Joan Sheely of Sac City; paternal great-grandparents Josephine Geerdes of Arizona and Dorene Baskevice of Florida; two aunts Jessica Geerdes of Florida and Abby Lund of Sac City; and three uncles Travis Geerdes and Zach Geerdes both of Florida and Gavin Galbraith of Omaha, NE.

   He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents Leroy and Ruth Galbraith and Donald Sheely; and his paternal great-grandparents George Geerdes and Sammy Sanfilippo.
