   Steven Anthony Dinges, age 44, of Sac City, IA, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015, in Hardin County, IA. 

   Steve was born on November 25, 1970, in Sioux City, IA, to Donald Dinges and JoAnn (Kloucek) Dinges.  He was baptized as an infant in the catholic faith in Sioux City.  He received his education at Belmar Elementary School in Amarillo, TX, Crockett Jr. High in Amarillo and attended Amarillo High School.

   Steve married Tracey Thomsen and to this union was born a daughter Sophie and son Mason.  They later divorced.

   Steve worked hard as an owner/operator truck driver.  He enjoyed participating in truck shows, spending time with family and the love of his life, his son, Mason Dinges.  Steve loved to make people laugh, had a witty sense of humor and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  He loved children and animals, was a dedicated worker and meticulous in every way. 

   Survivors include his father Donald Dinges of Amarillo, TX and mother JoAnn Dinges of Amarillo, TX; son Mason James Dinges of Urbandale, IA; brother Michael Scott Dinges of Clyde, TX; sisters Kim JoAnn Muniz and husband Sergio of Amarillo, TX and Jill Ann Tenorio and husband Luis of Amarillo, TX; nieces and nephews: Andrew, Crystal, Brandon, Keegan, Kaeclyn, Brooklyn, Vincent and Ashlyn; extended family members and many friends.

   Steve was preceded in death by his infant daughter Sophie Dinges.
