Mary Elizabeth Corrin, age 92, of Early, IA, passed away at the Morningside Care Center in Ida Grove, IA, on January 11, 2015. Mary was born on September 16, 1922, to Anton Edwin and Grace (Goreham) Gunderson in Odebolt, IA. She was baptized and confirmed in the Methodist Church and attended school in Odebolt graduating in 1940.

On April 25, 1944, Mary was united in marriage to Eugene Christian Corrin in Sioux City, IA. They made their home in Early, IA. This union was blessed with four children: Ronald, Raymond, Rickey and Sandra.

Mary loved being a homemaker and caring for her growing family. She enjoyed sewing and providing a beautiful home filled with her embroidered and crocheted items. She was very talented and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She also worked at Bil Mar in Storm Lake, retiring in 1987.

Survivors include her son Rickey Dean Corrin and wife Donna of Alta, IA; daughter Sandra Kay Bolles and husband Gary of Ida Grove, IA; daughter-in-law Linda Corrin of Early, IA; grandchildren: Tammy (Jeff) Benna of Wentzville, MO, Scott (Samantha) Corrin of Early, IA, Teresa Corrin of Sioux City, IA, Kimberly (A. J.) Stevensen of Holstein, IA, and Jennifer Corrin of LeMars, IA; step grandchildren: Frank, Kelly and Chris Hutchinson; and ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Anton and Grace Gunderson; husband Eugene; sons Ronald and Raymond Corrin; daughter-in-law Judy Corrin; five brothers and three sisters.
