Bailey Marie Jacobsen, age 16, of Wall Lake, IA, died on Saturday, August 23, 2014, as the result of a tragic car accident.

Bailey was born on December 25, 1997 to Bradley Phillip and Anne Marie (Blum) Jacobsen in Carroll, IA. She was baptized in February of 1998 and confirmed her faith in April of 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wall Lake and was a member of the CYO.

Bailey was just entering her junior year at East Sac County High School. She was a huge part in helping out at the family restaurant, Doc’s Place. She loved going out to eat, one of her favorite places being Rancho Grande. She loved going to concerts, shopping, getting her nails done, and most of all spending time with her best friends. Bailey was anxiously awaiting her sister’s wedding in October and being her Maid of Honor. She was the biggest fan of both her brothers. You would always see her cheering loudly at their sporting events and taking pictures. She absolutely loved watching her little brother grow up. Some of her favorite family trips were to Thailand and to Mexico. Her family and friends will cherish their many memories of her outgoing personality, clowning around, great smile and bubbly personality. She was truly one of a kind.

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Bradley and Anne Jacobsen, her sister Stephanie Jacobsen and fiancé Jacob Ewoldt of Manning, brothers Tyler and Zachary at home, and her dog Petie; grandparents, Richard “Doc” and Maria Blum and Phil and Charlene Jacobsen all of Wall Lake; extended family members; and many, many friends.
