Gerald Eugene Vroman

Gerald Eugene Vroman, age 60, of Sac City, IA died Monday, September 30, 2014, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, IA.

Gerald was born on October 16, 1953, in Carroll, IA, to Gerald and Bonnie (Huey) Vroman. He grew up in Lake City, IA and attended grade school in Lohrville and then high school in Lake City. Gerald was an active member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sac City. Gerry worked at the Howard Center as well as the Iowa State Extension’s office. He enjoyed music, and was an Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Survivors include two sisters: Teresa (Mario) Vroman-Munoz of Des Moines, IA and Cynthia (Joe) Christiansen of Bellevue, NE; niece Deanna (Reggie) Dees; and great nephews Jayden, Kolby, and Leevi. He is preceded in death by his father Gerald Vroman, mother Bonnie Vroman and nephew Andrew Christiansen.
