Cheryl Ann Conger

Cheryl Ann Conger, age 64, of Sac City, IA, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View, IA. Cheryl was born on August 2, 1950, to Channing Crowley and Phyllis Elaine (Herrold) Conger in Cleveland, OH. She was baptized and confirmed in her youth and a member of the United Methodist Church in Sac City.

Cheryl attended school at Westlake High in Westlake, OH. Her family moved to California and then to Sac City, where she had lived in one of the Howard Center Group Homes just north of the Methodist Church. She enjoyed sorting cans for the Howard Center and the fellowship of the other ladies in her home.

Cheryl loved music, dancing, drawing and coloring, making many colorful art pieces. She also loved being outdoors raking leaves and attending church.

Survivors include her parents, Channing and Phyllis Conger of Sac City; brother Guy Herrold Conger and wife Laura of Woodside, CA; niece Clair Chiaravalle and husband Mike of Sunnyvale, CA; nephew Channing Marshall Conger of Sunnyvale, CA; and extended family members.
