"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” -Jeremiah 1:5
With hearts broken beyond words, we announce the birth and passing of our precious son, Waylon Jay Freier, who was silently born on July 7, 2026, at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital in Lake City, Iowa.
Although Waylon never took a breath in this world, he filled the hearts of those who loved him long before his arrival.
Waylon is the beloved son of Alexis Ransom and Shawn Freier and little brother to Piper, Violet, and Beckett. Though they must say goodbye before they ever truly had the chance to say hello, they will carry his memory with them always. He will forever be their precious son, beloved brother, and an irreplaceable part of their family.
Born sleeping, Waylon was gently carried into the loving arms of Jesus, where every tear has been wiped away and perfect peace surrounds him forever. While the ache of missing him will remain in the hearts of those who eagerly awaited his arrival, they find comfort in the promise that this goodbye is not forever. One glorious day, they will hold him again in a place where there is no sorrow, only everlasting joy.
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14
