Rick Reiter, age 68, of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

  Ricky Lee Reiter was born on August 7, 1957, to Kermit and Donna Reiter in Manning, Iowa. He was raised in Wall Lake. Rick was baptized as an infant, and in 1972 he was confirmed into his faith at Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake. He attended Wall Lake High School and graduated with the class of 1976.   

  Growing up in a family feed business, Rick learned every facet of the business. He especially enjoyed the trucking aspect, which allowed him to spend time on the open road and visit with customers. Something he truly loved. After Reiter Feed Co. was sold, Rick was employed with Cook Siding and Koster Grain, retiring in 2020.

  On April 9, 1991, Rick married Tina Schoneboom in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with one daughter, Josie.

   In his spare time, Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. Nothing brought him more joy than time spent with his beloved family.  His face would light up whenever he saw his grandson, Dawson. Rick was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends which include: his wife, Tina of Wall Lake; daughter, Josie (Dustin) Bengford of Breda; grandson Dawson Bengford, and a sweet grandchild arriving soon; brother, Jeffrey Reiter of Wall Lake; sisters, Cindy (David) Dersien of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Tammy (Thomas) Myers of Huron, South Dakota; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Robert) Bengtson,  Lori (Marty) Mauer,   Lisa (Jim) Garrels; brothers-in-law, Larry (Cheryl) Schoneboom,  Reginald Schoneboom. His memory will be cherished by the many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.

  Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Donna Reiter; parents-in-law, Eldo and LaVerna Schoneboom; brother-in-law, Ron Schoneboom.
