Lawrence Mauer, age 78 of Chaska, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Chaska Heights Senior Living in Chaska.
Lawrence Henry Mauer was born on June 25, 1945, to parents Lawrence Sr. and Edna (Micheel) Mauer in Sac City, IA. He grew up on a farm outside of Sac City and attended school in Early, IA. Lawrence was a member of the Early Presbyterian Church.
After schooling, Lawrence lived in Sioux City, IA, and worked for five years at the Wincharger Corporation. He then moved to Rock Valley, IA, and worked at Hope Haven for over thirty years before retiring. He moved to Chaska to live closer to Shirley and Len Attema.
Lawrence enjoyed eating out, attending and watching sporting events, and working out daily on his elliptical machine.
He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his cousins, Shirley Attema (Passick) and husband Len of Burnsville, MN, and Marlene Sorensen (Passick) of Sioux City, IA; other extended family members and friends.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Edna Mauer.
