Berniece “Bunny” Daniel, age 76 of Lytton, IA, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City, IA. Berniece Catherine Shoeppner was born on May 10, 1947, to parents Urban and Alvina (Huegerich) Shoeppner in Carroll, IA. She grew up in Carroll and attended Kuemper Catholic Schools.  Bunny was baptized and confirmed at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Carroll.

  Bunny married John Daniel. This union was blessed with three children. The couple later divorced. Bunny and her family moved to Lytton where she ended up residing for over forty years. She loved her small, close-knit community.

   Over the years, Bunny held several odd-jobs including painting signs and making crafts. She loved staying busy with these things. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for all of her loved ones. She always really liked being at home, whether it was being inside working on her hand crafted miniatures or outside in her garden. Above all, Bunny enjoyed spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished every moment spent with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

  Survivors include her children, Scott (Sheila) Daniel of Pleasant Hill, IA, and Carla (Bill) King of Lytton, IA; grandchildren: Alex Daniel of Des Moines, IA, Jordan Daniel of Pleasant Hill, IA, Kylie King (fiancé Colton Selk) of Lytton, IA, Keagan (Aaron) Mandernach of Storm Lake, IA, Kenadie King of Ankeny, IA, Roger King and Kourtney King both of Lytton, IA, Fallon Vauble of Lytton, IA, and Brenna Vauble of Scranton, IA; great-grandchildren Steven, Weston, and Bexley; many other extended family members and friends.

   Bunny was preceded in death by her parents, Urban and Alvina Shoeppner; ex-husband John Daniel; and brother Mel Shoeppner.
