Brandon Joseph Crabb, age 28 of Ames, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 19, 2022. Brandon, son of Joe Crabb of Sac City, IA, was born on January 20, 1994, in Des Moines, IA. He was baptized in a small country church in rural Roland, IA.
Brandon grew up and attended grade school in Manson, IA, before moving to Ames. He graduated from Ames High School with the class of 2012. Brandon was currently attending Des Moines Area Community College.
Brandon enjoyed playing video games, working out at the gym, and loved comedy and music. He had a big heart and cared deeply about his family and friends. Above all, he loved his son, Onyx, to whom he was an amazing dad to. Brandon will be deeply missed by not only him, but all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Antonia Crabb; son Onyx and stepson Giovanni; father Joe Crabb; mother and stepdad Joyce and Roger Hammen; sister Nicole Hammen; paternal grandmother June Crabb; maternal grandmother Joan Phillips; paternal aunts/uncles: Luke (Sherry) Crabb, Matt (Sheri) Crabb, Kathy (Kevin) Duncan, Linda (Jim) Rokes, Susan Crabb, and Mark (Kris) Crabb; maternal aunts/uncles: Bobby, Greg, and Donna; 12 paternal cousins; many other extended family members and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Crabb; maternal grandfather Robert Phillips; and uncle John Crabb.
