Daniel Ross, age 61 of Sac City, IA, passed away on July 20, 2022, at Loring Hospital in Sac City, IA.  Daniel Lloyd Ross was born on December 15, 1960, in Jefferson, IA to parents Clarence and Marie (Page) Ross.

     Dan cherished his second family, the Howard Activity Center staff, and roommates. He loved being home. He worked at the Howard Activity Center. Did dishes at the grocery store, and delivered papers. He loved traveling and going on vacation. He was known for his cowboy hat and boots, riding his bike around town, and loved going out to eat.

     Dan taught those who knew him not to take life, or yourself too seriously. Enjoy the good times and don't hold grudges or anger. His life was an example of how to live with light and love

     Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers: Donald of Ogden, IA; Dean (Ada) of Jefferson, IA; Darrell (Carol) of Lytton, IA; Dennis (Linda) of Jefferson, IA; David of Lytton, IA; sister: Sharon Hickey, of Fort Dodge, IA, sister-in-law, Linda Ross, of Jefferson, IA. He also had many nieces and nephews that cherished him.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Emma Lou in infancy, brother Dale, Brother-in-law, Thomas Hickey, and childhood friend and roommate, Matt Cavanaugh.

     Memorials may be left to the Howard Center or Kindred Hospice.
