Shaun Jarvis, age 39 of Marshalltown, IA, passed away on June 2, 2022, at his home. Shaun Andrew Kapayou Jarvis was born on May 13, 1983, in Marshalltown, Iowa to parents Ricky Jarvis and Andrea (Kapayou) Jarvis. He attended grade school at South Tama and later lived with his family in Ida Grove, where he graduated from Battle Creek-Ida Grove schools.
During his career Shaun worked as a cabinet maker at Doug’s Cabinets in Lafayette, Louisiana. He enjoyed movies, video games, music, and building cabinets. Shaun had a cat named Freya that he loved very much.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother: Andrea Jarvis; twin brother: Shane Kapayou Jarvis; sister: Denae Jarvis; nephews: Donnie and Liam Jarvis.
He was preceded in death by his father: Rick Jarvis; maternal grandparents: Edward Kapayou Sr. and Sylvia Kapayou; and uncles: Evan and Anthony Kapayou.
