   Bonnie “Jane” Bundt, age 81 of Breda, IA, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Loring Hospital in Sac City, IA.  Jane was born on May 28, 1941, to parents Elmer and Laura (Limke) Hard.  She grew up in the rural Kiron area where she attended grade school.  She then graduated from Odebolt Arthur High School with the class of 1959.  After graduation, Jane continued her education at the Iowa Lutheran School of Nursing in Des Moines, IA, graduating in 1961.

   On April 28, 1962, Jane was united in marriage to Lyle Bundt at the Faith Lutheran Church in Odebolt, IA.  This union was blessed with three children: David, Linda, and Nancy.  Jane worked as a licensed practical Nurse at Loring Hospital in Sac City and at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake, IA, for several years.  She retired from nursing in 2003.

   Jane was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake, IA.  Serving as president and treasurer of Daughter’s of Peace.  She also attended several LWML conventions.  In her free time, Jane enjoyed sewing, gardening, baking, and attending church activities.  She and Lyle loved to travel.  They made many trips to Branson, MO, and one special trip to Sweden.  Most of all, Jane cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.  She helped with 4H and was always at any activity her children and grandchildren were involved in. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.

   Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Lyle Bundt of Breda, IA; children: David (Jill) Bundt of Harrisonville, MO, Linda (Keith) Graber of Cedar Falls, IA, and Nancy ( Larry) Rowedder of Carroll, IA; grandchildren: Allison (Sam), Dylan (Emily), Zach (Kayla), Tyler (Abigail), Ashley, Morgan, Mandi, Jaelynne, Jacki, Cole (Morgan), Brady, and Regan; great-grandchildren: Kaleeci, Willow, and Weston; brother-in-law Bob Higgins of Greenville, MI.

   Jane was preceded in death by her grandson Alex Graber; parents Elmer and Laura; sister-in-law Shirley Higgins; and parents-in-law Earl and Edna Bundt.
