    Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Langner passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City surrounded by her family.

     Beth was born on November 27, 1947, to parents Ernest and Ruth (Witter) Moore in Jefferson, Iowa. During her childhood, the Moore family moved to Nemaha, Iowa where they would make their home. Beth was one of seven children. Beth attended Nemaha Community School through at least the eighth grade. It is in Nemaha where Beth met the love and light of her life, Richard Langner.

     Richard and Beth were united in marriage on February 20, 1965, in South Sioux City, Nebraska. This union was blessed with 2 children: Nick and Alisa. Richard and Beth relocated several times before making their home on the farm just North of Schaller, Iowa.

     Beth wore many hats in her younger days. She was Richard’s business partner, book-keeper along with being a wife and mother. Beth also enjoyed reading, music, and quilting. Beth had an enormous heart for animals. She had many animals throughout her life and enjoyed taking care of them. On top of raising their own children, Richard and Beth would also raise 2 other generations of children, their nephews Scott and Shawn Halder along with their grandchildren Carol and Richard. Beth will always be known for the deep love she showed everyone, especially her family.

     Those left to cherish her memory include daughter: Alisa (Mike) Erblich of Cherokee, Iowa; daughter-in-law: Julie Langner of Schaller, IA; grandchildren: Carol (Jason) Schreier of Sac City, IA; Richard Bubke of Sac City, IA; Kirk (AJ) Langner of Schaller, IA, and Daniel (Aubree) Langner of Schaller, IA; nephews: Scott (Quinton) of Olympia, Washington and Shawn Halder of Spencer, IA; great-grandchildren: Conner and Brantley Schreier and Siena Moeller all of Sac City, IA: siblings: Floyd (Dorothy) Moore of Wellington, KS; Kay (Don) Pedersen of Cherokee, IA; Melvin (Peg) Moore of Webster City, IA; Ron (Kim) Moore of Webster City, IA; and many extended family and friends.

     Beth is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Richard Langner; parents: Ernest and Ruth Moore; parents-in-law: Herman and Lydia Langner; son Nick Langner, brothers: Gary and Kenneth Moore; sister-in-law: Carol Halder, and brothers-in-law: Melvin Langner and Bob Halder.
