     Alexander “Al” Campbell, age 68 of Lake View, IA passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, peacefully with his wife by his bedside while in the care of Black Hawk Life Care Center, Lake View, IA.

     Al was born on September 19, 1953, to parents Art and Betty (Gregory) Campbell in Algona, IA.  During his lifetime he was blessed with two children Nicole and Brian Campbell. 

   He married the love of his life, Sandie (Mizer), on October 20, 2001.  They made their home in Sac City, IA, and filled it with love and joy to all.  Recently they resided at the Black Hawk Life Care Center in Lake View, IA.

    Al enjoyed various jobs with his last employment being delivery of newspapers to Sac City residents.  Many knew Al as a joyful, kind man.  He enjoyed spending time with his wife most of all.  He delighted in visits with his family at his mother’s house in Sac City.  He and the guests would all gather around to have coffee and pie.

   Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years Sandie Campbell of Lake View, IA; daughter: Nicole Campbell of Carroll, IA; sister: Charlotte Thorn of Carroll, IA; brother: Bob Campbell of Holstein, IA; Sisters-in-law: Mary Klindt of Sac City, IA and Linda Campbell of Lukin, TX; many nieces and nephews.

  Al was preceded in death by his parents Art and Betty Campbell; son Brian Campbell; brothers: John, Joe, and Bill Campbell; Brothers-in-law Nick Thorn and Larry Klindt; Sister-in-law: Bonnie Campbell; and nephew Dave Thorn.
