   Pam Reis, age 68 of Early, IA, passed away at her home in Early on Sunday, January 23, 2022.  Pamela Ann was born on January 1, 1954, to parents Arthur and Beverly (Sones) Bofenkamp in Storm Lake, IA.  She grew up in Storm Lake where she attended grade school at St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School.  After graduation, Pam continued her education at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA receiving her Associate's Degree.

  On June 29, 1974, Pam was united in marriage to Douglas Reis at the St Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake.  This union was blessed with two children, Ben and Cindy.  Pam worked at a bank with multiple duties of secretary, teller, and insurance. Pam was an avid gardener with a green thumb.  In her garden, she grew flowers and vegetables.  In her free time, Pam kept busy following her grandchildren’s many activities.  She had many friends and enjoyed traveling.  Pam was involved in her community as part of the Women’s Club, card club, and birthday club.  She was also active on the Woman’s Guild and a Eucharistic Minister for Sacred Heart Church in Early, IA.

  Pam was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Bofenkamp and Beverly Bofenkamp. 

   Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Doug Reis of Early, IA; children: Ben Reis (Krista) of Grimes, IA and Cindy Watson (Phil) of Polk City, IA; grandchildren: Abigail, Jackson, Macie, Madeline, Harper, and Meredith; sisters: Linda Siebrecht (Lester) of Odebolt, IA and Marla Heeren (Bill) of Alleman, IA. 

   Family requests memorials be made to
BVRMC Oncology and Infusion Clinic at 1525 W. 5th Street, Storm Lake, IA 50588.
