June Faye Meyers, age 73, of Sac City, IA passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City.
June Faye (Miller) Meyers was born on October 18, 1940, to parents Verlyn and Eva (Stout) Miller in Auburn, IA. She was raised in Sac City. June was married to Glenn H. Meyers on November 9, 1960. They were blessed with four children: Norma, Mary, Don, and Darwin.
June enjoyed watching her three legged friend Lucie, playing cards and she loved spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Don (Shellie) Meyers, Sac City, Darwin Meyers, Sac City, Norma (Jerry) Vanest, Mishawaka, IN, and Mary (Brad) Hernandez-Dutton, and family Oshkosh, WI; grandchildren: Corey (Laura) Meyers and children Hunter and Lucie, Carroll, IA, Brandon (Nicole) Meyers, Des Moines, Ashley Meyers, Sac City, Dana Nielson, Newell, Megan Nielson and son Arden, Cincinnati, OH, and Samantha (Cedric) Robinson; brothers: Jim Miller, Killeen, TX, Charlie (Sandy) Miller, Sac City, Ray (Dee) Miller, Columbus, GA and Roy (Donna) Miller, Moravia, IA; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
