Marvin Wayne Johnson, age 56, of Lake View, Iowa, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021, at his residence in Lake View.
   Marvin was born on December 6, 1964 to Daryl and Delores (Dornath) Johnson in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Marvin attended school in Wall Lake, IA, graduating in 1983.  On May 11, 1994 he was married to Robin Huffman in Las Vegas, NV. The couple who later divorced was blessed with a son, Brandon Wayne Johnson.
   Marvin made a career working for the United States Post Office in Torrance, California for most of his life where he also lived. After an early retirement he returned to Lake View to spend time with his family and friends. In his free time Marvin enjoyed working out at the gym, tinkering with vintage cars and going to the beach.
   Those who knew and loved Marvin, and will miss him include his only son, Brandon Johnson of Chino, CA; his father Daryl Johnson of Linn Grove, IA; 3 brothers: Gene (Cheryl) Johnson of Linn Grove, IA; Jerry (Jacque) Johnson of Washington, IA; Carey (Susan) Johnson of Grants Pass, OR; and 1 sister Linda (Kent) Roby of Norwood, NC; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
   Marvin was preceded in death by his mother Delores and his grandparents.
