Brenda Luchtel

Brenda Lou Luchtel, age 49, of Sac City, IA passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 10, 2014 at Loring Hospital in Sac City, IA. Brenda Lou was born on May 12, 1964 to parents Robert and Toby (Turner) Luchtel in Sac City, IA. She grew up in Sac City and graduated from Sac City High School in 1982. She went on to further her education at Iowa Central Community College and Buena Vista College in Storm Lake. She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sac City, IA.

Brenda had worked at the Howard Activity Center, as a bookkeeper at Steve’s Repairs, and at Peyton’s Greenhouse. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and attending concerts. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughter: Brittany Wirtjers of Storm Lake, IA; grandchildren: Madison Bobzien and Hadleigh Stille; mother Toby Luchtel of Sac City, IA; brother Dexter (Nancy) Luchtel of Warrensburg, MO; niece Amanda Luchtel of Dallas, TX; special friend Steve Beach; and her extended family members and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her father Robert and nephew Dustin Luchtel.
