   Nedra Hoxie, age 87 of Early, IA, passed away on October 12, 2020 at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City, IA.

   Nedra Ann Hoxie was born on October 27, 1932 to parents Arthur and Freda (Niles) Rodgers in Auburn, IA. She grew up in the Auburn area where she graduated from Auburn High School. 

   On August 13, 1950, Nedra was united in marriage to Robert L. Hoxie in Auburn, IA.  They were blessed with two daughters Rebecca and Kimberly.  Nedra and her family later moved and made their home in Early, IA around 1952. 

   Nedra was a homemaker and enjoyed being involved in her daughters' activities.  She was a Girl Scout leader for many years, and part of the Ladies’ Aid with the Early Methodist Church.  Nedra enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball, playing cards and flowers.  She always loved getting together with family so she could bake goodies and cook meals for them.  Nedra cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and watching them grow.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

   Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Rebecca Stoltz of Apple Valley, MN; grandchildren: Robert (Kyla) Stoltz of Lee's Summit, MO, Lisa (Terry) Nutter of Farmington, MN, Michael Bernard of St. Louis, MO, Stacey (Sean) Casey of Sioux Rapids, IA; great-grandchildren: McKenna and Alexander Stoltz, Kay and Khloe Nutter, and Kendra and Gavin Casey; sister Karon (Earl) Zimmerman of Sac City, IA; sisters-in-law: Ann Rodgers of Melvindale, MI and Milly Holdgrafer of Salix, IA; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

   Nedra was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hoxie; daughter Kimberly (Jim) Hoxie-Huss; parents Freda and Arthur Rodgers; son-in-law John Stoltz; sisters: Mavis Rodgers, Marvel (Wayne) Christian, Mary (Alvin) Lewis and Roma (Lawrence) Berry; and brothers Anthon and Arthur Rodgers.
