David "Howie" Brotherson

David “Howie” Howard Brotherson, age 57, of Wall Lake, IA, died on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Dave was born on November 26, 1956 to Howard and Delores (Lambert) Brotherson in Manning, IA. He was baptized at Wheatland Presbyterian Church and confirmed his faith at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Wall Lake where he remained a member. He graduated from Wall Lake High School and attended WIT College in Sioux City, IA.

On February 12, 1983, David was united in marriage to Pam Friedrichsen in Denison, IA. They were the parents of three sons: Cole, Josh and Patrick.

Howie worked in construction but his true love was for his children and family. His many nieces and nephews loved him dearly and he loved spending time with them. As an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, working on cars, genealogy, driving around and country living.

Those left to mourn his passing include his parents: Howard and Delores Brotherson of Wall Lake; his sons: Cole and wife Tiffany Brotherson of Des Moines and Josh Brotherson of Wall Lake; brother Jeff Brotherson of Lake View; sisters: Cindy and husband Bryon Segebart of Galva and Addie Fay (Jody Brower) of Glidden; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
