Ed Weilenman, age 57 of Sac City, IA, passed away at his home on November 16, 2019. Edward Weilenman was born on July 10, 1962, in Omaha, NE, to parents Edward and Maxine (Nance) Weilenman. He grew up in the Methodist faith.
Ed was raised in Omaha where he attended school and graduated from Roncalli High School. Ed worked as a welder and tow truck driver for most of his life. He was employed at Ranco in Sioux Rapids most recently. Ed enjoyed the outdoors and really liked to camp and fish. He was a kind and caring man who was always willing to help everyone. Ed will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ed is survived by his siblings: Ernie (Mary) Redding of Omaha, NE, Nancy (Daryl) Leib of Kimballton, IA, Sharon (George) Haynes of Omaha, NE, and Richard Weilenman of Avoca, IA; cousins: Tim and Terri Weilenman of Audubon, IA, Mike Weilenman of Illinois, Chris Hudson of Louisiana, and Kathy Weilenman-Archer of Iowa; many extended family members and friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Maxine Weilenman; grandparents; and brother Earl Redding.
