Beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, Terri Lyn Reynolds, passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 43 following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Born January 27, 1976, Terri was baptized at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Early, IA. She attended Schaller-Crestland High School and The University of Northern Iowa before relocating to Ankeny, IA to work as a credit analyst with Banleaco.

   Terri loved curling up with a good book and spending time with her friends, but above all else, she loved her family. You could always find her on the farm in Nemaha helping dad pick up rocks or inside playing Fill or Bust and Rummikub with mom and the kids. Never missing one of her niece or nephew’s events, she took up photography to document all their proud moments. This is where she found her true calling becoming the official photographer for every family occasion and multiple sports teams.  

   Terri was the embodiment of selflessness always putting family and friends above herself. Even while in the hospital battling cancer, she was concerned with loved ones missing work and school or driving too far to see her. That was Terri. Even in the end thinking of others. She continued her giving nature after death by becoming an eye and multi organ donor.

   We will miss her infectious, and often too loud, laugh that could fill a restaurant and her warm and genuinely loving nature. She was preceded in death by grandparents, George and Helen Reynolds and William and Alice Hansen. She leaves behind her parents, Gordon and Leanne Reynolds; sister, Alycia Rourke; niece, Taylor Waldstein; nephew, Kody Waldstein and wife, Athena; and goddaughter, Hailey Carr.

   Everyone knew Aunt Terri. She touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Terri’s name be made to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital at the University of Iowa.
