Florence Marie Lindner of Odebolt, IA, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
Florence was born on March 1, 1920, to David and Myrtle (Gordon) McLuckie in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was baptized at the Methodist Church in Fort Dodge. She attended grade school in Fort Dodge, Iowa. In 1941, Florence married Leo Lindner Sr. This union was blessed with two sons, Leo and Jerry.
Florence enjoyed flowers and had a green thumb for planting things in and outside her home. She was a painter, and made her art on saws, saw blades and canvases. Florence also enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Her family was the greatest love of her life and she loved having the grandkids around. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her two sons: Leo (Karen) Lindner of Crete, NE and Jerry Lindner of Odebolt, IA; sister Georgia Knudson of Badger, IA; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
