IN LIEU OF FLOWERS Pam's family is requesting puzzle donations be made either at the service or in Pam's memory to New Opportunities in Sac City. Pam loved putting together puzzles with her family and donating them will allow others to enjoy doing the same with their families.
Pam Steinkuehler, age 71 of Sac City, IA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Blackhawk Life Care Center in Lake View, IA.
Pamela Jean Steinkuehler was born on May 3, 1947, in Atlantic, IA, to parents Robert and Gertrude (Gaines) Steinkuehler. She grew up and attended school in Sac City.
In October of 1976, Pam became a proud parent to her only child, Crystal. When Pam was young, she enjoyed fishing and camping; a hobby she later shared with her daughter and eventually grandsons.
Pam worked at Park View Rehabilitation Center for several years, retiring in 2010. She was an avid canner, winning over her neighbors, friends and family with her famous salsa and beets. Pam loved playing bingo, putting together puzzles and enjoyed going to coffee with her friends, especially with her nephew, Tony Hammond. She loved living next door to her grandkids and spending as much time with them as she could. Going to their activities and games was a priority to her. There will never be another Pam. Her friends and family meant more than anything to her. She had a heart of gold and would do anything to help out the people she loved. Pam will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
