Beulah Lou Schelle was born on February 4, 1939 with her twin sister Rosa Sue, in Longrun, MO, to parents William McKinley and Nora Jane (Hampton) Simpson. She was the youngest of 12 children, which included two sets of twins.
On September 19, 1964, Beulah was united in marriage to James Schelle. Joining this unity of marriage were Beulah’s three sons, followed by the birth of three additional children. They made their home and raised their children on an acreage near Early. Beulah worked at various jobs throughout her life but cooking was her passion, whether it be at a restaurant or for her family.
Beulah liked to be outside and stay active. She enjoyed going for walks, biking, gardening, reading and photography. Beulah will be remembered for her many beautiful flower beds, candy apple pie, fried chicken and homemade chicken noodle soup. Her most important role in her life was being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
