Ortha Haradon Montgomery passed away peacefully in St. Augustine, Florida, on March 24, 2018, at the age of 91.

   She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis A. Montgomery; parents Lloyd and Opal Haradon; son Robert (Bob) Montgomery; sister Dorothy; brothers Donald, Richard, and Lavern; great granddaughter Samantha (Maddie) Fraker. 

   Ortha is survived by her children Anita Zayas, Susan (Suzee) Griffin, and Charles (Chuck) Montgomery; brother Kenneth Haradon; sister Sandra Riley; 20 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

   Born in Storm Lake, Iowa, July 17, 1926, Ortha  was a homemaker and a current Life Member of VFW Post 9610 in Lake Park, Florida. She and her husband were great supporters of the VFW starting when they first joined VFW Post 590 in Sac City, Iowa. She will always be remembered for loving and caring deeply for her entire family.

   There will be a beach-side Memorial in St. Augustine with burial being held in Sac City, Iowa, at a later date.
