“We are grandsons of Clarence & Sylvia Clausen and come down each fall to hunt pheasants. Sheila was always so kind as to allow us to hunt her acreage and we got to catch up with her about all the local news and events. We also remember how she routinely visited our Grandma at Twilight Acres in Wall Lake during the time she resided there. Rest in Peace, Sheila -- we will miss you.”

“I echo the words of David Clausen and Sue Mulvihill. - because they express what I want to convey. In addition I will add a tidbit of history: I've known Sheila since the youth group at Wheatland, where Roger first served as pastor after he graduated from seminary. Sheila was always honest and likeable, with a friendly personality (traits she kept her whole life). Miriam (our exchange student from Brazil lived 6 mo. with us next to the church, which brought even more contact with Sheila and other neighbors in close vicinity. Those connections will always hold a special place in my heart, along with thankfulness for Sheila's updates on the congregation. She joins Roger & many others in Heaven. ”

“Very sorry to hear about the passing of Sheila. Throughout the years of knowing her (with our farms only a couple of miles apart), the bus rides to and fro to Wall Lake, the numerous church gatherings, and everything else, Sheila was always a positive spirit and a friendly soul. My condolences to her sister Bonnie and her family and to all the other relatives and friends of Sheila. The Wheatland community, along with others, will certainly miss her.”
