Norma B. Hunt, age 89, formerly of Lake View, IA, passed away on March 20, 2017, in King City, MO. She was born on June 22, 1927, in Lake View, IA to parents Arthur and Marie (Schwanz) Hedberg.
On April 17, 1951, Norma and Wayne Hunt were united in marriage. To this union two children were born. Norma and Wayne lived the majority of their lives together in Alaska, where she was an avid fisherwoman. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Lake View. Norma loved to travel, read, and play penny slots at casinos. She was a wonderful cook and crafter, but most of all she enjoyed and loved her family.
Survivors include two children, Pam (Day) Miller of Maysville, MO, and Jeff (Bev) Hunt of Lake View, IA; six granddaughters: Natalie Wessman, Lisa (Troy) Schroeder, Hillary (Aaron) Marshall, Veronica (Derek) Bird, Margaret Miller, and Allison (C.J.) Zeller; and eight great-grandchildren.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and eleven brothers and sisters.
