Rose Mary Ruff, age 80 of Sac City, IA, passed away at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. She was born in Minnesota on October 19, 1939, to parents George and Luverne (Denney) Schmitt. Rose Mary was married to Laverne Hanson, he later passed away. They were blessed with four children: Wayne, Jerry, Lance, and Renae. She then was united in marriage to Robert Ruff on June 25th Cherokee, IA, and they were blessed with a daughter, Marlene.
Rose Mary worked as a CNA for many years and was a door greater at Walmart in North Carolina for many years as well. She enjoyed taking care of people and making them smile. She also loved to crochet in her free time. Rose Mary will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
