“Losing a Mother is not an easy road to travel. While I didn't personally know Mrs. Freese I certainly know and work with her son, Col. Gary Freese. Col. Freese is an outstanding military officer and a very good man. Undoubtedly his parents had a heavy hand is his development. This says volumes about Mrs. Freese. The Board of the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum offers our most sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Freese.
