Kenny Vauble, age 75, of Sac City, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. Kenneth Edward Vauble was born on January 15, 1943, to parents Fay R. and Cecelia M. (Hewitt) Vauble in rural Lake View, IA.
On May 4, 1961, Kenny was united in marriage to Beverly Long at the Free Methodist Church in Sac City. This union was blessed with three sons: Dean, Terry and Todd. Kenny and Bev raised their family in Sac City. He was a very active member of the First Christian Church.
Kenny worked for Lubeck Oil and also for Noble Manufacturing until the plant closed. After that, Kenny was employed at IBP (now Tyson) for thirty years until retiring in 2012.
In his retirement years, he enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him great joy. Any time Kenny could spend with his family was treasured time. He especially enjoyed time spent with his boys processing deer meat.
Kenny was a loving husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bev Vauble of Sac City; sons Terry Vauble and Todd (Laura) Vauble both of Sac City; granddaughters: Tabitha, Tiffany, Fallon, and Brenna Vauble all of Sac City; great grandchildren: Cooper and Madilyn both of Sac City; sister Betty Kraft of Estherville; brothers-in-law: Walter McClintock of Sac City, Larry (Vicki) Peyton of Sac City, Don Long of Lake View, and Ron (Paula) Long of Sac City; sisters-in-law Pauline Vauble of Sac City, Joann Vauble of Sac City, and Sandy (Wally) Lott of Jolley, IA; many extended family members and friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; son Dean Vauble; five brothers; six sisters; and parents-in-law LaVern and Marie Long.
