Eva “Cherie” Schade, age 40, of Lake View, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2008, at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
A prayer service will be held on Monday, January 21st, at 4:30 p.m., at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m.
Cherie was born on March 29, 1967, to Charlie E. and Jo Anne (Tillery) Miller in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was baptized in 1983 at the Baptist Church in Royal, Arkansas, and attended Lake Hamilton High School in Lake Hamilton, Arkansas.
On July 7, 1995, Cherie was united in marriage to Earl Dean Schade at the Sac City Court House. They made their home in Lake View.
Cherie was very creative and worked as a graphic designer, spending a lot of time on her computer. She enjoyed shopping on EBay, Christmas decorating, taking pictures, working in her garden, and visiting with friends around a campfire. Cherie was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family. She loved spending Christmas with her parents in Arkansas, visiting Petit Jean Mountain on vacation and shopping at the Bass Pro Shop.
Survivors include her husband Earl Schade of Lake View; her two sons: James Schade of Sioux City, IA, and Robert Schade of Sioux Falls, SD; her mother Jo Anne Williams of Sac City, IA; her father: Charles E. Miller and stepmother Jean of Clinton, AR; and parents-in-law: Barbara Patton and husband Robert of Lake View, IA. Other survivors include her sister: Tracey Hudman of Arkansas; stepsister Jean Lamb of Arkansas; and sisters-in-law Rhonda Behounek of Livermore, IA, and Melissa Beyerink of Carroll, IA; her brothers: Charles E. Miller, Jr. of California; and brother-in-law Troy Schade of Carnarvon, IA; four nephews; many extended family members and friends.
Her grandparents James E. and Charolette Miller and Louis and Selma Tillery preceded Cherie in death.
