Diane Kay Klocke, age 55, of Sac City, Iowa, passed away January 5, 2008, at the University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa, following a lengthy illness.
    
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, January 9th, at Emanuel-St. John Lutheran Church in Lytton, Iowa, with Pastor Wayne Pfannkuch officiating.  Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City is in charge of arrangements.
    
Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 8th at the funeral home in Sac City.
    
Diane was born on June 22, 1952, at Loring Hospital in Sac City the daughter of George and Luvene (Leege) Diersen.  She was baptized July 13, 1952 and confirmed April 3, 1966 at Emanuel-St. John Lutheran Church in Lytton where she remained a lifelong member.  Diane attended the Sac City Community Schools, graduating in 1970.  She continued her education at Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska.
    
On May 12, 1973, Diane was united in marriage to Dennis Klocke in Lytton, Iowa.  They were divorced in 1979.
     
Diane will be remembered for her caring nature and generosity.  Her last job, Diane worked as a residential supervisor for the Howard Activity Center in Sac City.  She enjoyed reading, was a member of Wa Tan Ye and Morning Coffee Bible Study, she loved to write,   especially poetry, and enjoyed music.  She was involved in the West Central Iowa Chapter of The Compassionate Friends. 
    
She cherished her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.  Survivors include her daughter Denise Ramsey and husband Kirby of Fresno, CA, and their son Samuel Caleb Ramsey; brothers and sisters: Lowell Diersen and wife Mary of Boone, IA; Keith Diersen and wife Becky; David Diersen and wife Diana; Bruce Diersen; and Karen Cerra and husband John all Sac City, IA; and Deborah Schade and husband James of Evansville, IN; 15 nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and nephews; extended family members; and many friends.
    
Diane was preceded in death by her  parents: George and Luvene Diersen; daughter Jodie Kay Klocke; and brother Larry Diersen.
