Graveside services for Lois Erne will be held on Thursday, August 24th, 2:00 p.m. at the Wall Lake Cemetery with Rev. Roger Carlisle officiating. Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Wall is in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.

Lois Erne, age 98, of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2006, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Carroll, Iowa.

Lois was born on January 5, 1908, the daughter of Silas and Ida Crowe. She graduated from Wall Lake High School and attended Buena Vista College receiving her Teaching Certificate. She taught school for several years.

On December 3, 1939, Lois was united in marriage to Carl Erne.

Survivors include several great nieces and nephews.
