Funeral services for Connie Krueger will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14th, at Lakes United Methodist Church in Lake View with Rev. Rick Johnson officiating. Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13th, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View.

Connie Ann Krueger, age 59, of Lake View, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2006, at her home in rural Lake View.

Connie was born on May 25, 1947, the daughter of Vernon and Lorraine (Maack) Koenck, in Boyer, Iowa. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Denison in 1951 and confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Deloit, Iowa, in 1961. Connie attended grade school at Vail, Iowa and graduated from Lake City High School in 1965.

Connie was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved being in the outdoors and enjoyed going fishing, camping, liked horses, mushroom hunting, walking with her dog “Baby,” going to garage sales and auctions and making old things new again. She also liked to sew, go gambling, and play cards till the sun came up.

Those left to mourn her passing include her fiancé Tim Galbraith of Lake View; her children: Tenna Remmick of Lake View, Scott (Keli) Remmick of Boyer, and Tammie Krueger and special friend Conrad Quail of Boyer; Herman Schwanz of Wall Lake; her mother Lorraine Koenck of Lake City, Iowa; Tim’s mother, Joann Corderman of Sac City, Iowa; and seven grandchildren: Rachel and Samantha Remmick, Clarrissa Krueger, Courtney McCullough, Emily, Tiffany, and Joshua Quail. Other survivors include her brother Gary “Bucky” (Kathy) Koenck of Deloit; three sisters: Colleen (Chuck) Moeller of Oklahoma, Ronda (Jerry) Evans of Auburn, Iowa, and Vickie (Chris) Terry of Lake City; many extended family members; and her beloved dog Baby.

Connie was preceded in death by her grandmother Vi Schwanz, father Vernon Koenck, and niece Jodi Grote.
