Robert Hamilton

Graveside services for Robert Hamilton, age 83, of Sun City, Arizona, and formerly of Odebolt, are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2005, at the Odebolt Cemetery. Visitation is at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Odebolt from 9:00 a.m. until services time.

Robert passed away at his home on December 26, 2005. He was born in Walkerville, Ontario, Canada, on August 16, 1922, to W.E. and Kathleen Vigar Hamilton. Bob served in World War II with the Royal Canada Air Force. He later entered Drake University, in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1948.

He was married to Helen L. Hannemann in 1951. To this union they were blessed with four sons, David, Steve, Gregory, and Daniel.

Bob was owner of the Credit Bureau of Duluth in Duluth, Minnesota, past President of Credit Bureau of Minnesota, past member of the Rotary Club No. 25 and a Paul Harms Fellowship member in Duluth. He retired from the Credit Bureau in 1981.

Bob had a passion for flying and enjoyed his lake home in Northern Minnesota with his family

Survivors include his wife Helen, his sons, David (Lynne) of Stillwater, MN, Steven (Patricia) of Eagan, MN, Gregory (Kathryn) of Duluth, MN, and Daniel of Burnsville, MN, along with grandchildren, Adam, Paul, Nick, Chris, Michelle, Jacob, Jessica and Alicia Hamilton. Other survivors include his sister-in-law, Regina McNew of Sun City, AZ, and lifelong friend Paul LeCoq and wife Joyce of Peoria, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
