Norma Jean Parker

Graveside services for Norma Jean Parker, age 57, of Mesa, Arizona, and formerly of Early, Iowa, is at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 1, 2005, at the Early Union Cemetery. There is no visitation. The Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City is in charge of arrangements.

Norma Jean Parker passed away Thursday, June 23rd, in Mesa after a short battle with cancer. She was born April 2, 1948, in Storm Lake, Iowa. She resided in Apache Junction, AZ, with her friend Susan Kluth. Norma worked in electronics most of her life. She enjoyed her four little dogs and spending time with her five grandchildren: Brandon and Jace Zook, Allison, Adam, and Amanda Norton.

Preceding her in death was her father, Harold Boettcher and her granddaughter, Emily Anne Norton.

Survivors include her mother, Viola Redding of Early, IA; two daughters: Sherry and Chris Zook of Nevada, IA, and Carolyn and Steve Norton of North Pole, Alaska; five grandchildren; two brothers: Kenneth and Pamela Boettcher of Chippewa Falls, WI, and Douglas and LaVonda Boettcher of Blaine, MN.
