Clara M. Wunschel, age 94, of Wall Lake, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2005, at Twilight Acres Nursing Home in Wall Lake.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25th, 2:00 p.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wall Lake. Burial will be at the Wall Lake Cemetery under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, with a vigil service at 7:00, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Wall Lake.

Clara was born on November 12, 1910, on the family farm in Sac County, the daughter of John J. and Esther (Maxwell) Wunschel. She lived in Wall Lake her entire life, graduating from Wall Lake High School.

She worked in the laundry department of Twilight Acres Nursing Home. Clara enjoyed spending time with her sisters and was a devoted member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wall Lake.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, John and Esther Wunschel; brothers: Clarence, Raymond, and three infant brothers; and her beloved sisters: Mary, Mabel, and Agnes Wunschel. She leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Marie Wunschel of Carroll and extended family members.
