Charlaine Cavanagh Charlaine Leith Cavanagh, age 87, of Sac City, Iowa passed away at the Loring Hospital in Sac City on May 22, 2005. Charlaine L Green was born July 13, 1917 in Sac City, Iowa the daughter of Dr. Loren and Etta (Ellis) Green. She attended Sac City Schools, graduating from the Sac City High School in 1935. Following graduation she went on to attend the Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sac City and will be remembered by many people for working in downtown Sac City at Gaylord’s Jewelry and Stewart’s . She is survived by her life companion; Don Young of Sac City and her daughter; Gerry Lynne Hultquist-McClure of Nampa, Idaho. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Kimberly Ann Iyer, Bradley Dee Hultquist and Jeffrey Thomas Hultquist and her great grandchildren, Natasha Hultquist-Iyer and Colton Thomas Hultquist. Preceding her in death were her parents, Dr. Loren and Etta Green; her brother; Dr. Marvin Green and her son; Thomas M. Cavanagh. Private family graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Newell Cemetery in Newell, Iowa. Rev. B.J. Ukena of the 1st Presbyterian Church officiated. |
