Permelia "Pam" Brennan
“Pam” was born June 6, 1915, in Schaller, Iowa, the daughter of Forest and Ida (Kyle) Head. She attended school in Early, Iowa, graduating from Early High School in 1932. She was united in marriage to Burt Brennan. She moved to Sac City in 1940, and on to Bernardino, California, in 1962, where she graduated from Skadron Business College. She worked for the San Bernardino Chamber of Commerce doing the outreach program for the retired senior volunteer program. In 1977 she moved back to Sac City. She always loved to write and wrote articles for “Senior Citizens News” in the Sac Sun Newspaper. Pam enjoyed spending time with her family, going dancing, playing Bingo, and crocheting. She is survived by her son, Larry Brennan, and her daughter Bonnie (Gary) Richards both of Des Moines, IA; a grandson Bryan (Patty) Simpson of Richland Hills, TX; and great-granddaughter Ashley; granddaughter Jayme Tukumoeatu of Vacaville, CA, and great-grandchildren Lionel, Levett, and Carrie; Pam’s sister Marie Long of Sac City; two nieces: Bev (Kenny) Vauble and family of Sac City, Sandy (Wally) Lott and family of Jolley, IA; two nephews: Don (Barb) Long and family of Colorado, and Ronnie (Paula) Long and family of Sac City. Pam was preceded in death by her parents; husband Burt, June 30, 1956, and daughter Patty. A memorial service for Pam is Monday, April 05, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City, with Reverend Sharla Hulsey officiating, and Joyce Irwin, organist. Honorary pallbearers include her grandchildren: Bryan Simpson, and Jayme Tukumoeatu and her great-grandchildren: Ashley Simpson, Jayme Tukumoeatu, Levett Tukumoeatu, Lionel Tukumoeatu, and Carrie Peppers. |
