Vicki Blessington

Vicki Sue Blessington, age 52, of Lake View, Iowa passed away at the Loring Hospital in Sac City on Friday, December 26, 2003.

Vicki was born February 27, 1951, in Arcadia, the daughter of Russell and Dorothy Mae (Schiernbeck) Booth.

She lived with her parents in Lytton and attended Lytton High School. Vicki was baptized and confirmed at the Lytton Presbyterian Church. Vicki worked as an area waitress, convenience store clerk and at Tjaden Motel in Lake View as a housekeeper until her retirement in September.

She was united in marriage to Gary Blessington on February 14, 1988, in Hope, Arkansas.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Gary; two sons: Todd and Jesse Wolfe both of Truman, Minnesota; step-son, Brian Blessington and his wife Elizabeth Partridge-Blessington of Breda; step-daughter, Jacque Blessington of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers and their wives: John and Jan Booth of Baxter and Dan and Tammy Booth of Nemaha; three sisters: Barbara Patton and her husband Robert and Rosanne Tucker all of Lake View, and Brenda Naberhaus and her husband Steve of Carroll; four grandchildren: Cody and Nicole Wolfe of Des Moines, Jessica Wolfe of Glencoe, Minnesota, and Cheyenne Wolfe of Fort Dodge; many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters: Bonnie Booth, in infancy, and Connie Jones.

Funeral services for Vicki Blessington is Monday, December 29, 2003, 2:00 p.m., at the United Church of Christ in Lake View, with Reverend Jerry Schultz officiating. Organist is J. Andrew Meredith. Pallbearers include: Scott Eichhorn, Mark Hankins, Jr., Jeremy Naberhaus, Corey Naberhaus, Earl Schade, and Troy Schade. Burial will be at the Ferguson Cemetery in Lake View, Iowa. Arrangements by Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Lake View, Iowa.
