Service for Joanne Lott, age 68, of Lytton, is 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2003, at the Presbyterian Church, Lytton, Iowa, with Rev. Wayne Pfannkuch officiating, Dennis Hinrichs, soloist, with congregational singing, and Mary Townsend, organist. The flower committee includes: Lill Shull, Terry Striegel, Linda Murphy, and Marlene Glasnapp. Honorary pallbearers include her granddaughters: Kortni Greenlee, Avery Aden, and Amber Aden. Pallbearers are: Scott Greenlee, Austin Aden, Barry Aden, Alex Aden, Rick Pitstick and Kyle Greenlee.

Friends may call at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home, Sac City, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. with family present 3-6:00 and 7-8:00. Burial at Garfield Cemetery, rural Lytton, Iowa.

Joanne (Wright) Lott, age 68, of Lytton, IA passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2003, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Jo was born on May 24, 1935, in Schaller, IA, the daughter of Melvin and Hattie (Schilling) Wright. She graduated from the Schaller Community School in 1953 and from Buena Vista College, Storm Lake, IA in 1955.

On December 28, 1957, Jo was united in marriage to Mickey Lott in Schaller. To this union three daughters were born, Lori, Leah, and Lana. Jo was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lytton.

Jo enjoyed her many years of teaching in Lytton, Jolley, Rockwell City, and Pomeroy School Districts. Since retiring in 1994, she enjoyed antiquing, reading, motor cycling, going for coffee, and spending winters in Florida. Her most precious time was being “Grandma Jo” with her grandchildren.

Jo is survived by her husband, Mickey; and daughters, Lori Greenlee and her husband Scott of Sac City, Leah Aden and her husband Barry of Pomeroy, and Lana Pitstick and her husband Rick of Fonda; six grandchildren: Kortni and Kyle Greenlee, Austin, Alex, Avery, and Amber Aden; two brothers: Dale Wright and his wife Phyllis of Folsom, CA and Neal Wight of Sunnyvale, CA; her twin sister, Janene Dixon and her husband Bob of Saugus, CA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wallace and Sandy Lott of Jolley, Marc and Shelley Lott of Ames, Jovonna and Don Whiton of Des Moines; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jo was preceded in death by an infant son; parents; brother, Pete Wright; and parents-in-law, Eugene and Aulda Lott.
